Hopefully the "At High Tide" event will produce a significant profit that will then be donated to, and benefit “The Land Conservancy of Adams County”. Leadership on our side of the reenacting community are concretely working to build a long term, mutually beneficial relationship with this organization, somewhat along the lines of what our battalion has developed with the Shenandoah Valley Battlefields Foundation.

Yes I agree alot the younger end of the campaign community and new campaigners in general who have not
been around as long as me and you do seem to expect something at every event that was what I was adressing.We as a battalion do not have this problem that I have seen yet but the campaign community as a whole seems to be going more in the direction of materially how is this event worth it for me to go to and judgeing whether the event is offering a ration issue or something else to balance out the registration which is taking money away from peservation dollars of a event.We spent a good chunk of money on rations for Shenandoah 62.Talk to you later good discussion!

To all who served in 3rd company over this past weekend, Thanks.
It was truely a pleasure to command. It went quite well for 15 minutes of drill.
I was also nice to have so much experience in the ranks. You guys did the PSL
proud.
I was also nice to chat with the other companies and get to know the members.
I felt relieved to know that our mess (27th Va, Hairy Backs) wasn't unique when it came to having several "characters" in the ranks. Some great funny stories over the weekend.
