Thats fine Dave and Shaun P. will be there for Sat.and I think we will pick up a few guys there also. The fewest we will have in our company is 14 so that is good.We will shoot a few yanks for you.

I know my guys are bringing shelter halves with them to put up some shelter.
Looks like there might be some rain and temps in the 40's all weekend.

If the weather doesn't get TOO bad Ill be there after noon on friday. Ill be heading for the spruce trees by the Creek as usual. As you come down the hill be sure to grab some wood from the stack. We'll need it (dry)

Everyone I have some bad news mabie good to some. I have sprained my knee at work Tues.I am currently takeing medication and resting it.Will be back at work Thur. light duty rest of the week.It feels alot better today Wed.I am still going to take it esy until Sat. I go back to the doc Fri at 1:30 and hopefully I will have my flexabiltiy and mobileity back by Sat. I am planning to arrive Friday at CC but may have to arrive early Sat.Depending on my mobileity I may not be able to command?If I can not and if ok with everyone Ethan can command I still will be there and m0bile enough I will use my scoped enfield and hang behind our skirmish line and Sharpshoot with a spotter which will be correct and will not calll for me to be swift and mobile.I will not know about my knee until fri but I will have to be in alot of pain not to command you guys everyone knows how much I like skirmish and the sharpshooting impression!

I want to thank everyone who did show up Saturday and those who were there on Sunday.Especially Sat. standing in the elements for 45min idiot organizers at C.C. what do you expect at a mainstream event.Other than the closeness of the unoin skirmish line to ours during battle and deployment I enjoyed it and got to blow some powder.I did take time to sit back and watch our part of the skirmish line it looked good and operated well once Ethan got us to advance with the rest of the battalion he didnt hear the command or notice the other half advancing.Over all we looked good the whole battalion the only thing is mainstream evnts do not know how to use us or to properly do skirimish.they always have the lines of Skirmishers too close and the Federals didnt do nothing but kneel when firing at the distance we were tey should of been lying down like most of us were doing. someone let me know what happend Sunday and how it went. Lets work on this impression and do this now and then at camapign tatical events and mainstream events at least camapaign events know how to use us and Federals there know how to make it look relistic.Lets work on the rifle company impression for skirmish and some more two banders like Enfleds,Missippis etc. Enfield rifled muskets would be ok too.We can do the 5th AL Eugene Blackfords men who were a famous unit of SharpShooters I have alot of info on them at most majior battles.Lets talk on here about this and build a base of 12-16 guys to do skirmish and we could work with Mike Henricks and C. Anders,Eric Minks guys to for battalions of Sharpshooters at taticals and certian events.Or just operate as a company of skirmishers for the Leigon.We would only do this occasionaly for special events.
