Battalion Meeting 2010

This coming year's battalion meeting will be held on January 30th at the 1863 Inn at Gettysburg. This is the same location as last year - the old Holiday Inn Battlefield. Here's their website for your information. http://www.1863innofgettysburg.com/

Don't worry football fans, this is the weekend between the championship game and the Super Bowl!

We have a block of rooms at the hotel on Friday night (5 rooms) and Saturday night (15 rooms). I am waiting on the contract, but the block name should be "PSL." The cost per night is $62.

After the battalion meeting, we can all go out to dinner again at O'Rourke's. It was great spending time with everyone in a laid back situation.

I am happy to announce that Sue Boardman is recovering from a car accident in November and will be back to work on this coming Monday. I am going to ask her to do another tour for us again on Sunday morning. Any ideas for the tour? Davis' Brigade? Secret spots on the battlefield?

I wanted to bump this topic up again. We will be having the battalion meeting on January 30th at the 1863 Inn at Gettysburg. If you are interested in staying at the hotel, please call the hotel and make your hotel reservation by the 8th of January in order to get the special rate ($62 -double, $72 - triple, and $82 - quad occupancy). Please mention the code "PSL/Heidi Myers" when you are making the reservation!

Sue Boardman will be giving us a battlefield tour around 10:30 - 11:00ish on the morning of the 31st. She said that she could take us around to some of secret spots on the battlefield.
